Job Description: A Destination Specialist crafts personalized and memorable travel experiences for clients by leveraging in-depth knowledge of specific locations and providing expert guidance. They design itineraries, manage bookings and handle client inquiries to ensure smooth and enjoyable trips.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned destinations.
- Design customized travel itineraries based on client preferences.
- Coordinate with local vendors, hotels, and tour operators.
- Provide clients with detailed travel advice and documentation.
- Monitor travel advisories and update clients accordingly.
- Develop and promote new travel packages.
- Ensure all travel arrangements comply with client budgets and expectations.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote destinations.
- Attend travel expos and industry events to network and gather insights.
