After Breakfast At The Hotel, Drive Towards Muktinath Temple (approx. 1754km 5.5 Hours’ Drive). MUKTINATH TEMPLE: It Is Believed That All Miseries, Sorrows Are Relieved Once You Visit This Temple. The Main Shrine Is A Pagoda Shaped Temple Dedicated To Lord Vishnu. Set Into The Wall Around It Is 108 Waterspouts From Which Pour Holy Water. The Temple Is Situated On A High Mountain Range And Is Visited During Fair Weather. This Temple Held Sacred By Hindus As Well As Buddhists. After Visiting Muktinath, Drive To Jomsom Passing Scenic Places (approx. 1 Hours’ Drive). After Reaching Jomsom, Check In At The Hotel & Rest Day. Jomsom: It Lies To The North Of Pokhara In Mustang District, And Is The Main Gateway To Upper Mustang. It Lies To South Of The Village Of Kagbeni, A Tibetan-influenced Village Filled With Prayer Wheels, Chortens And A Buddhist Monastery. The Trail Passing Through Jomsom Follows The Kali Gandaki River Which Forms The Deepest Ravine In The World; On One Side Lies The Annapurna Mountain Range And On The Other Side Is Dhaulagiri. It Is A Vital Hub Of Religious Fervour. The Temple Itself Is Dedicated To The Hindu Goddess Durga. Durga Appears In The Form Of A Saligram. A Saligram, According To Hindu Mythology Is A Propitious Stone. The Bindabasini Temple Was Then Founded In BS 1845. Since Its Establishment, Bhagwati Has Been An Object Of Worship Here On A Daily Basis. DEVI’S FALL: Locally Known As Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall), Devi's Fall Is An Amazing Waterfall Lying About 2 Km South-west Of Pokhara Airport On The Highway To Tansen. It Was Named After Devi, A Swiss Lady Who Was Swept Away When The Floodgates Were Accidently Opened, Never To Be Seen Again. GUPTESHWAR CAVE: The Cave Is Probably The Longest And Attractive Cave In South Asia Which Is Located At A Pristine Location North-western Part Of Pokhara District. In 1970, 1980 And 1982 A British Expedition Organization Named British Course Research Cave Expedition Expatiated This Cave And Published About It In The Atlas Of The Great Caves Of The World. Situated Amidst A Lush Green Natural Setting On The Bank Of The Sacred Bagmati River, The Temple Built In Pagoda Style With Gilded Roof And Richly Carved Silver Doors. Pashupatinath Is The Centre Of Annual Pilgrimage On The Day Of Shivaratri. You’ll Also Be Able To See Cremation Grounds That Lie On The Bank Of Bagmati Behind The Temple. BOUDHANATH STUPA: One Of The Oldest And The Biggest Buddhist Monuments Ever Built In Nepal; Boudhanath Is A Spherical Stupa Structure Imposing At A Height Of 36 Meters With Three Massive Mandala Style Platforms. Located 08 Kilometres East Of Kathmandu, The Stupa With Four Pairs Of Eyes At The Four Cardinal Directions Is Believed To Be Keeping Watch For Righteous Behaviour And Human Prosperity. SWOYAMBHUNATH STUPA: Said To Be Around 2000 Years Old, This Buddhist Stupa Sits Atop A Hill. The Main Stupa Is Composed Of A Solid Hemisphere Of Brick And Earth Supporting A Lofty Conical Spire Crowned By A Pinnacle Of Copper Gilt. Painted On The Four-sided Base Of The Spire Are The All-seeing Eyes Of Lord Buddha. The Hill Of Swoyambhunath Is A Mosaic Of Small Chaityas And Pagoda Temples. You’ll Get A Scenic View Of Kathmandu City From There. PATAN DURBAR SQUARE: Patan Durbar Square Is Situated At The Centre Of The City Of Lalitpur In Nepal. It Is One Of The Three Durbar Squares In The Kathmandu Valley, All Of Which Are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One Of Its Attractions Is The Medieval Royal Palace Where The Malla Kings Of Lalitpur Resided. The Durbar Square Is A Marvel Of Newar Architecture. The Square Floor Is Tiled With Red Bricks.
